Content of the 2004 Training Tool
for the ELF Interfeence Mitigation Training of Electric Power Utilites in Michigan |
The tool developed and used by Domenico in 2004 for training of personnel at the electric power utilities is designed to work and operate from within a browser, but incorporate files of various formats (html, pdf, ppt, swf, media, pictures both jpg and gif, etc) that have to be downloaded. |
Some browsers block file downloading altogether or limit in various ways their displaying. All browsers now block Flash animated videos (swf files) for security reasons, and these had to be converted to mp4 files. Furthermore, many are Microsoft Power Point files which require the host device to have the Power Point application. |
Although made available for viewing and use, the actual tool (Training2004) is cumbersome and difficult to use. In part this was done on purpose to discourage anybody else from using it. It was a proprietary tool developed with personal resources and intended to promote and sell consulting services. |
Its actual use has lost its purpose and value, but the content is rich in graphics and animations and is worth of viewing. Following is an outline of the content not necessarily in the original presentation sequence intent. |
