Pincher

pincher11 The "pincher" (in the upper left corner) was developed to make temporary electrical connections to insulated grounding wires, quickly and with minimal damage to the insulation. The pincher saves both labor and repairs.
pincher12 The pincher consists of a pointed plunger that advances in a screw assembly driven by a clutched handle. By turning the handle, the plunger makes a gentle pin-hole perforation in the insulation layer and a sure connection to the copper wire, with a precalibrated pressure.

Moulding Nail Puller

puller12
The nail puller is a similar development that works together with the pincher to expedite testing and leaving no damage to the facilities. It is basically a standard nail puller that has the leverage foot modified with a rocking saddle. The saddle rocks on the pole, straddling over the molding and without touching it. The saddle applies the leverage force to the pole rather than the molding in pulling nails, thus avoiding crushing the molding.
This tool allows to quickly and easily remove the nails from the molding. The grounding wire can be reached once the molding is loosened sufficiently.
